His sire, Sandro Hit, a dressage horse World Champion and Bundeschampion, is deemed one of the line founding stallions in modern day dressage horse breeding. In the US he won the 2010 USEF Dressage Sire of the Year title. His most successful offspring, Salieri, has placed in international Grand Prix dressage all the way up to World Cup free-styles under his Austrian rider,  Victoria Max-Theurer.

His dam St.Pr.St. Deluxe M is also the dam of  St.Pr.A. Starlet (by Sandro Hit) who sold for a high price at an auction.

The dam's sire Donnerhall is the perfect example of a unique synthesis between breeding and sport. In the ranking issued by the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses, Donnerhall ranked second in 2010 among the world's best dressage-makers. 

The granddam Rosenfee is also the dam of the licensed stallion Sancisco OLD, who competed in the Final of the Nürnberg Burg Pokal under Ronald Lüders and then went on to win Grand Prix dressage. In 2009 he receive the VTV Dressage Stallion of the Year award for his achievements. Sancisco's full sister St.Pr.A. Shirley was sold at an auction in Vechta.

Many other successful sport horses have come from the Haftung line.
