Dr. Uschi Barth is an equine veterinarian with passion. With her, the health and well-being of our horses are in the very best hands – and have been for many years. She studied in Vienna and the US. And she was also successful in dressage up to advanced level. Dr. Uschi Barth has taken care of the Austrian team many times before and during prestigious championships all over the globe and is highly recognized in her function as an FEI veterinarian.

Helmut Fassl makes our horses’ trips to shows and their stay at shows comfortable. He already drove my mother’s horses as if they were in a sedan -chair carrier. He only discovered his enthusiasm for the sport of riding when he was 30 year old - but then with a force. Right from the beginning, he helped with the organization of national and international show at Schloss Achleiten and has been an FEI Chief Steward since 2002.

No foot, no horse. We have been most fortunate that our farrier, Josef Frech, has been making sure that the feet of our horses are in good shape for nearly 40 year now. We can always depend on him: Even if a horse loses a shoe on the weekend, he’s right there to take care of it. Josef Frech passed the state examination for farriers in 1977 at the university in Vienna and then worked with trotters for many years before he turned to equestrian sport. Since 1997 he has been a member of the examination committee for upcoming farriers
