Warendorf/GER: Augustin and Blind Date Among the Most Successful Dressage Horses

The German Equestrian Federation just announced the 20 most successful young dressage horses in 2012 and Augustin and Blind Date were among them.

Our August der Starke son, Augustin, won 40,400 Euros this year in prizes and took an excellent eighth place. In total he has meanwhile won 114,148 Euros. That's really a fantastic result for this twelve-year old stallion bred by my mother.

But our newcomer, Blind Date by Breitling W, who we call Beate, took a very respectable 14th place with the 21,700 Euros she won this year.
I only took over this mare from the Wittig family last spring and for that short time I am very pleased with our achievements, most recently first and top placings in Oldenburg and Stuttgart.
