"Beate“ put on a very nice performance that had highlights in the passages, half-passes and extensions but the mare seemed to lose some of her energy before the test was over - probably because it has been very warm the past few weeks. We obviously need to work on her condition a bit and will use every opportunity to work out in warm weather now. There's still room for improving today's performance and we will try to iron these things out in our daily workouts. Just the same, competitors in this test were fierce so we are quite satisfied with our fourth place.

The Freestyle was won by Showtime under Dorothee Schneider/GER and they achieved 84.30 percent. Second and third place went to Zaire BB with Jessica von Bredow-Werndl/GER (77.75 percent) and Real Dancer FRH ridden by Jan-Dirk Gießelmann/GER (75.15). My team colleague, Astrid Neumayer, finished sixth (72.72) with her Rodriguez behind Thriller and Katja Gevers from the Netherlands (73.12).
