Achleiten: My Mother Celebrated Her 60th Birthday
With more than 130 invited guests, my mother celebrated her 60th birthday at Schloss Kammer am Attersee.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish my mother a happy birthday. My mother is a very strong personality and never lets anything get her off track. Her achievements in sport such as her EC victory in 1979 and her Olympic victory in 1980 with the unforgotten Mon Cherie, were the result of her everlasting love of horses and her never tiring hard work and endless discipline. She has always done whatever she could to support my brother Johannes and me and I am so very thankful to her. But her engagement is not just limited to our family. As a show organizer, international judge, President of the Austrian Equestrian Sport Association (OEPS), Vice President of the Austrian Olympic Committees, Chairman of Spanish Riding Schools Advisory Board and generous sponsor of many social projects as well as measures for protecting animals, she has generously given her enormous energy and used her special knowledge for the benefit of others.
I wish her continued good health, happiness and pleasure in all the things she does!
