She started off with a super trot tour and the judges gave correspondingly high scores. Unfortunately we made a couple of expensive mistakes later that pushed our score down. But I am still very proud of "Della" because she has done quite well in her first international Grand Prix season when I think about her great performance most recently at the Olympic Games in Rio/BRA.
I'm looking forward to the Grand Prix Freestyle now which is the second evaluation test for the State Championships – we'll do our very best.
Belinda Weinbauer earned her victory in the Grand Prix with her Söhnlein Brillant MJ (72.24 percent) – and I congratulate her from my heart. She has only been riding the 14-year old Hanoverian gelding for a short time now. My EM team colleague Astrid Neumayer followed on third with her DSP Rodriguez auf Rang and Evelyn Haim-Swarovski took fourth place with Dorina (68.28). Fifth place went to Nikolaus Erdmann with Vienna A (67.18), sixth to Dr. Stefanie Palm with her Royal Happiness OLD (67.14).
