Achleiten: Double Victory Right Off

We got off to a very good start at out home show.

Blind Date was simply the best in the Grand Prix with 74.53 percent and her stable mate Eichendorf took second place with 71.66 percent. Except for some little things, both rides went really well. Not only were the judges very satisfied with our performance, my trainer, Wolfram Wittig, was too.
On Saturday there were two 'firsts' for us: Blind Date was in her very first Grand Prix Freestyle - to the sounds of Status Quo - and Augustin OLD competed again for the first time after taking 13th place in the Olympic Freestyle of London/GBR in 2012 - in the Grand Prix qualifier for the Special and he was obviously delighted to be at a show again. The long pause was very good for him and I think he has made a lot of progress since then.

The success for our show stables was made complete by Biedermeier, who won the St. Georges under Wibke Bruns/GER.
