Aachen/GER: Della First, Blind Date Second

We got off to a good start at the week-long show in Aachen.

Della Cavalleria OLD did an excellent job and won the St. Georges with 74.42 percent. Her trot was extremely expressive - just like her canter and she immediately has relaxed, supple strides when she walks. You can tell that Della really enjoys what she's doing.

I was also extremely pleased with her stable mate. Blind Date. Beate made absolutely no errors in the Grand Prix of the CDI tour and with 72.61 percent, only the Olympic team silver winning Desperados FRH under Kristina Sprehe/GER (73.72 percent) was a little bit better.

Tomorrow on Thursday it's Augustin OLD's turn in the Grand Prix of the CDIO tour. He's in very good shape and even behaved himself at the vet check. Normally he likes to put on a big show for the vet.
