Herning/DEN: Twelvth in the Freestyle
Today you saw dressage sport at the EC in Herning/DEN that gave you goose bumps.

Every last seat in the stadium was filled: Nearly 12,000 spectators made an unbelievable backdrop for the Freestyle with the best 15 couples. And the dressage test, which was ridden at the very highest level, gave everyone goose bumps, especially Charlotte Dujardin/GBR's victorious ride on Valegro that was rewarded with 91.25 percent.
Augustin OLD also enjoyed the magnificent scenery - and as we rode down the middle line the last time before halting, the spectors started clapping in time with our freestyle music. That was unusual but lots of fun.
We received 75.51 percent for our freestyle to "Dance into the light" by Phil Collins. Augustin again did a great job and I am very very proud of his very consistent performance during the EC. That proves to me that we are absolutely on the right road. We received a good number of really fantastic scores. It was just too bad that we had a small error in the flying changes that were expensive.
