Cappeln/GER: Double Victory for Della Cavalleria OLD
Della Cavalleria OLD won not only the Grand Prix but also the Special at Dressur Cappeln International.

Della was strongly focused and really tried to do her best, in spite of the extremely warm and humid weather. Two little things cost us some valuable points though. But it was just Della's third international Special after Stadl Paula and Munich-Riem/GER. So I am quite satisfied with her performance. And why shouldn't I be with 72.35 percent and victory? Second place went to Stella Charlott Roth/GER on her Rubin Action (69.66 percent), followed by Aleksandra Szulc/POL with Rumba Hit (69.64). Fourth place went to Wibke Bruns and the 14-year old Holstein Luizao (68.64 percent), which was one place better than they had achieved in the Grand Prix.
Unfortunately, I couldn't ride Blind Date in Cappeln as I had planned. She seemed to have some colic symptoms and I didn't want to risk anything.
